Dark N Light

Description

A simple non-distracting theme for the XFCE Desktop Environment and GTK. It is based on the dark version of the Glow theme for XFCE and the Inverted theme for GTK.

Installation

1. Download the theme tar.gz below
2. Unpack it: tar vxzf darknlight.tar.gz
3. For system wide installation (so you can also use it with the login screen) move the DarkNLight directory to the /usr/share/themes directory.
4. For a local installation, move the DarkNLight directory to the ~/.themes/ directory.
5. In the XFCE settings menu, choose Settings Manager → Desktop → Appearance → Color style and select Solid Color. Go to Settings Manager → Desktop → Appearance → First color and change it to #262626.
6. In the XFCE settings menu, choose Settings Manager → User Interface and select the DarkNLight theme. Change the font to Verdana 7.
7. In the XFCE settings menu, choose Settings Manager → Window Manager → Style and select the DarkNLight theme.
